International Confrence on Sport Sciences Education and Health

Welcome to the International Conference on Sport Science, Physical Education and Health (ICSSPEH) 2022. The ICSSPEH 2022 will be conducted virtually on  October 28-29th 2022, hosted by Sport Science Faculty, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia and co-hosted by Guizhou Normal University, China, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, Malaysia, Iqra University, Pakistan and International Federation of Physical Education, Fitness and Sport Science Associations.

The motto is an important part of the freshness of the mind or soul, the balance of physical and psychological activities. The noble values of sport are closely related to the values of the nation’s character. PBB Resolution 58/5 (2005) explain that sport as a means promotes Education, Health, Development and Peace. Likewise with what was conveyed by the founding father, Ir. Soekarno who mandated that the dedication of life for athletes and sports coaches in carrying out the mandate of the suffering of the people in accordance with the framework of the nation’s ideals included in the Nation and character building of Indonesia.

Sport is an important pillar in building the nation’s character. Character will be more easily and successfully carried out through various forms of activities which done will eventually become a habit. Instilling discipline, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation are easier to do and form in sports activities.

Character is developed four pillars, thinking skills in the form of intelligent, critical, creative, innovative, curious, open-minded, productive, science-oriented, and reflection can be obtained by reading, writing and arithmetic (read, write and arithmetic). Exercise of the heart, in the form of honesty, faith and piety, trustworthiness, fairness, responsibility, empathy, dare to take risks, never give up, willing to sacrifice, and have a patriotic spirit. Exercise of taste/intention, in the form of caring, friendly, polite, mutual respect, mutual cooperation, nationalist, dynamic. Sports, in the form of tough, healthy, disciplined, sporty, reliable, resilient, friendly, cooperative, competitive, cheerful and persistent.

The sports cluster includes sports education, sports coaching, recreational sports, and sports science play an important role in developing character so that a conception of scientific integration is needed in order to create the character of a national sports culture.
