Upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and peer-review integrity for the global academic community.
The Proceedings of International Conference on Innovation, Sustainability and Engineering for Global Transformation (INSEGT) is a peer-reviewed proceeding. We only publish article manuscripts in the fields appropriate for the proceeding.
The committee is responsible for the peer-review publication process as a pivotal building block in the development of a respected network of academia.
The following statements clarify ethical behavior agreed upon by all parties involved: the authors, editors, and peer-reviewers. These statements are adapted from the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE).
Submit manuscripts accurately and objectively based on honest work. Do not use fabricated, falsified, or inappropriately manipulated data.
Cite previous research and provide proper acknowledgment of the works of others. If sections of a previously published study are used, clearly cite them and indicate the novel contributions of the current manuscript.
Certify that the manuscript is an original work, free of plagiarism, and has not been published or currently considered for publication elsewhere.
Disclose any funding or grants received in the acknowledgment. Ensure all listed authors significantly contributed to the research and agree on the final submitted manuscript.
Notify the committee regarding any potential financial or other conflicts of interest, and promptly report any significant errors identified post-submission.
Responsible for the initial screening of all submitted manuscripts and ensuring the overall quality of the publication process.
Handle the peer-review process and assign reviewers who possess suitable expertise according to the manuscript's topic.
Make fair publication decisions (Accept, Reject, or Revise) based solely on the results of the objective review process.
Keep all information pertaining to submitted manuscripts confidential and ensure authors declare any conflict of interest prior to publication.
Treat all manuscripts as privileged information. Do not discuss or share manuscript details with others unless permitted by the editor.
Provide objective, clear, and constructive feedback to help improve the quality of the manuscript. Personal interest or bias is strictly prohibited.
Notify the editor and withdraw from reviewing if there is any conflict of interest (financial, institutional, or collaborative) with the authors.
Complete the review promptly within the designated time-frame, or notify the editor immediately if unable to fulfill the task.
Each submitted manuscript is independently evaluated by at least three (3) expert reviewers in a strict double-blind process.
Full papers (from Abstract to References) are assessed based on originality, technical depth, topic relevance, contributions, and readability.
The Editor makes the final decision (acceptance, amendment, or rejection) based on reviewer recommendations. Authors will be informed via email.
Authors must address reviewer reports and submit the revised, camera-ready manuscript to the submission system within two weeks of notification.
