Session Guidelines

Presentation Instructions

Comprehensive guidelines for on-site and online presenters at INSEGT 2027. Ensure high audiovisual standards, adhere to session timing, and avoid no-show penalties.

Presentation Allocation

15 Minutes Total
10 Minutes: Oral delivery & slide walkthrough
5 Minutes: Audience discussion & session chair Q&A

Delivery Protocols

On-Site Presenters

  • Arrival Time: Arrive at the allocated session room at least 30 minutes before the session starts to register with the Session Chair.
  • Session Etiquette: If an earlier session is still underway, please wait outside quietly so as not to disrupt ongoing presentations.
  • Hardware & Software: Each room is equipped with an LCD projector and a Windows PC containing Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • File Backup: Embed all fonts in your .pptx presentation file and bring a duplicate version in .pdf format on a USB drive.

Online Presenters

  • Login Window: Join the virtual conference room at least 15 minutes prior to the session and notify the Session Host.
  • Live Delivery Required: Presenters must deliver their talk live and be present for Q&A.
    Catatan: Kebijakan rekaman/pre-recorded menunggu konfirmasi komite.
  • Pre-Flight Check: Test your camera, microphone, screen-sharing, and broadband stability. A wired Ethernet connection is strongly advised.
  • Access Link: The direct virtual room link will be emailed individually to registered presenters before the event.

Slide Design Standards

Words Per Slide

Keep text concise. Avoid dense paragraphs to ensure legibility from the back of the room.

Minimum Font Size

Applies to all body copy, diagrams, axis labels, and caption callouts.

Line Spacing

Provide generous line spacing—at minimum the height of a capital letter.

Chart Contrast

Render charts with bold curves, distinct symbols, and stark contrast against light backgrounds.

Strict No-Show Policy

All accepted papers must be presented by at least one of the authors. Failure to present at the scheduled session without prior organizing committee approval constitutes a No-Show.

Sanctions for Unexcused Absence:
  1. The paper will be excluded from the official conference proceedings and will not be submitted for digital indexing.
  2. Authors will forfeit their presentation certificates and participation credentials.
  3. Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Emergency & Force Majeure: In the event of an unavoidable emergency, authors must notify the organizing committee in writing at least 1 day prior to the conference. Requests for substitute co-author presenters or mode alterations remain subject to committee discretion.
